Hey Ya'll,
Exciting news today!!! Our mission to Kapelebyong, Uganda has been moved to full GO status.
We have been told that we will have visa clearance on the ground when we arrive and we will be booking our flights over the next few days.
We will be taking off May 1st or 2nd and departing Uganda on May 22nd or 23rd. We will have 3 full weeks on the ground to accomplish our mission and bring real, positive change to the people of Kapelebyong.
I am especially excited as i have just been made aware that there are 507 orphans living on 1.5 square miles in the heart of the area where we will be working. There is an tremendous need in this area and we will be working to give them the tools they need to have prosperous lives and a chance to live full, healthy lives.
There is still so much to do in preparation for the mission (quite overwhelming to be honest) and we still desperately need your help and support to make this effort successful. There are lots of ways that you can help us for all of you that would like to join us in this effort. Right now the biggest way that you can help us is by making a donation towards the effort either through the paypal donation form on this blog or by emailing Luke or I for a tax-deductible donation form. Even if you can only give a few dollars please still consider giving as all the funds will be going to directly fund our work in the village. As we get closer to our departure there will be additional items that you will be able to donate for the kids and the widows in the village as well.
Thank you all for your support and prayers as we prepare for this mission. We will update you on our progress again soon.
Spread smiles and love,
Adam
p.s. For those who would like to donate airline miles to help us with airfare cost please contact luke a.s.a.p.

Welcome
Hey everyone,
I just wanted to post a note and welcome you to our blog. We are going to try and keep everyone up to date with what we are doing.
We just finished picking the dates for our trip, it looks like we be leaving around April 29th or 30th and returning on the 22nd of May. We are very excited for this trip and really are looking forward to accomplishing some great things.
The last couple weeks we have been researching different farming techniques and methods that we can pass on to the villagers. Our main goal is to create a sustainable farming system in Oditel so they no longer have to be dependent on aid.
We are working through an organization called Childrens Hope Chest, www.hopechest.org
While their goal is centered around orphans ours will be a little broader. Our goal will be having Oditel no longer dependent on aid within 5 years, which will have a significant positive impact on the orphans as well as the villagers.
We are looking forward to sharing this journey with you and welcome your support in any way that you care to give it.
Stay tuned for more updates soon.
Grace and Peace,
Luke

We're Going To UGANDA!!!!
Hey Everyone,
My Brother and I are heading to Uganda for a month on a humanitarian mission to the village of Kapelebyong.
The people there have been aid-dependant for forty years and we are going to help them get some crops of their own planted and growing and to teach sustainable farming practices.
I will give you a more detailed update shortly but i'm just super stoked about this right now so i wanted to get it out there.
Peace and Love,
Adam
